This year marks our Twenty-Ninth Conference. Some of the original founders and their children serve the Conference today. We are indebted to the eight men and women who had the courage and the vision to begin this journey, and to the following persons who serve on this year's Conference Committee as board members and committee chairs:
| John H. | Chris R. | Carolyn N. | Sally H. |
| Carl S. | Cyndi F. | Janice N. | Paula C. |
| Mike B. | John O. | Mary | Jackie D. |
| Donna N. | John P. | MaryBeth D. |
Our theme this year, "OUR GREAT BLESSINGS," is from the long form of the 12th Tradition. This principle unifies the Traditions which are the basis of our unity and our 12 Steps which are the basis of our recovery. It encompasses so many of our themes: Anonymity, Spirituality, Humility, Gratitude, and Prayer. These ARE our great blessings as well as the path to more great blessings. Bill W. was a word-wizard. This lovely sentiment, crafted to perfection in the long form, explains the 'what and why' of our tradition of anonymity; vastly more than 'prinicples before personalities.' Many of us believe the long form of the Traditions ought to be shared more often in the fellowship.
Tradition 12: And finally, we of Alcoholic Anonymous believe that the principle of anonymity has an immense spiritual significance. It reminds us to place principles before personalities; that we are actually to practice a genuine humility. This to the end that our great blessings may never spoil us; that we shall forever live in thankful contemplation of Him who presides over us all.
